Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – The Game Deluxe Edition is a solo boardgame experience in which a player dons the cowl and journeysthrough one of the most popular Batman stories ever told: FrankMillers iconic Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.
Instead of traditional leveling up, this is a game of attrition. Batmancomes out of retirement and tries to survive one final gauntlet,facing old and new villainsand even his most powerful ally,Superman! It is playable as four standalone missions includingeasy and hard modes and a 1v1 mode for Batman vs. villain battles -or one epic playthrough where results of each mission carryover to the next, with each featuring its own unique rules, allies,abilities, and epic boss battles.
The game will be offered in BaseGame and Deluxe Game formats, with the Deluxe Game featuring 18miniature figures designed in the distinct Frank Miller art style of thecomic!
