A special destroyer (blizzard) was developed to strengthen auxiliary ships that were not imposed under the Washington Armed Contract.
This narrow-mist (sagiri) is classified as a special type destroyer, including Ayanami.
Narrow Mist is the first special II type destroyer that has been lost during the war and Malay operations since its inception in military fight and other defense missions.
